Dental Hygienist Cindy Yeager explains how a deep cleaning dental procedure works for patients who may not have had a cleaning for a long time.

Usually it’s a person who hasn’t had their teeth cleaned for quite some time or they just have deposits underneath their gums. Basically, Dr. Barbag comes in and gets them numb on one side of their mouth.

That allows me to go in and get in deep underneath the gum so it’s not painful for them.
